As a counselor and a human, I see trauma and its effects everywhere. People struggling with relationships, having a hard time feeling good about themselves, repeating old, destructive patterns.
My goal in therapy is to release old pain. Trauma can be something to learn from, it can also be something so damaging that it should never have happened.
